This is going to be a stream of consciousness kind of blogpost. I have been thinking about this website for the last couple of days and even weeks. About what I want to do with it. Because it has fulfilled many different roles in my life. Just as it covered different kinds of topics over the years.

Writing about travel in the age of Covid-19 is pretty weird. It’s almost impossible to make any real travel guides, most tips are quite useless, and no one is actually looking to travel. So, the question comes to mind: Will travel ever be the same?

It’s been almost a year since Covid-19, or corona, made Belgium go into a lockdown. As a photographer and travel blogger, I was hit pretty hard. Which obviously affected my views of the future.

What a year it was. I don’t think I have to tell you about the pandemic. And even though the little virus kind of controlled our lives, there was still plenty of room to do things. So let’s talk about the things I did in 2020.

Dilemmas are a fun game to play. Especially when you have some time to waste. Waiting at the airport, driving a long distance, or just traveling by train. It’s fun to ask your friends these questions and get discussions going.

Finally, 2019 is ending, two years after it started. (I’m not acknowledging 2020). It’s nice to start thinking about the goals I want to accomplish in 2021. It was hard to think about them. As a travel blogger and corporate photographer, the past year was.. err dull and excruciating.
