After a trip of about 75km in two days, I arrived at the Westerpunt at the Belgian Coast. The final point of my hike. I was so happy.
Walking on and around the monument gave me several viewpoints to take photos. Normally, during high tide, the sea comes right to the monument. Sadly I was there during low tide.
Better luck next time!
For me this monument, and especially with people walking on it, had something that reminded me of M.C. Escher. The people all walking in the same direction around it, highlighted that extra to me.
