The start of a two day hike along the Belgian coast. And you can take the start thing literally.
This is the first photo I made during that trip. It’s also the first spot where I saw the sea since starting my hike 2km earlier at the trainstation of Knokke.
The grid of black and white tiles made for a perfect backdrop for a photo. I just waited for someone to pass over it. Since it was on a workday during working hours, there weren’t too many people unfortuntaly.
Luckily this one guy passed over it, lending me his legs for this photo. Giving it a bit of a human touch and giving more context to what were actually looking at.
