The people that have been following me for a while know that next to travel, photography, and writing about those two subjects I also make music. Under my moniker Polar Sun I just released my third EP: Passion. Listen to it here!
After my Caribou EP on Silhouette Records and my Sounds of the Heart EP on Electronic Rumors, it was time for a third one. Releasing Passion on Silhouette again is a bit like a homecoming. This time it really is ‘my’ EP. Usually, a label decided more or less the artwork and the remixers. It’s a strategic thing. A necessary ‘evil’.
This time Rutger, from Silhouette, left the big decisions to me. I made the artwork myself, or at least the photo, and decided on who could remix the music.

I decided to pick fellow Belgian Sue Avenue, for who I got to open a club night once, and James Rod who’s music I’ve loved for a while now. When they agreed on remixing my title-song Passion, I was so happy!

As on all EP’s, there is also the second song by me. This one is called Mezcal Sour by a drink I recently had discovered.
