December contrasted with November— a quiet time to think and plan for the coming year. Help family move, hang out with friends, and enjoy the holidays.
During the month, I was, of course, busy. Part of it was for work—events and portrait sessions in Ghent and Brussels, as well as several smartphone photography workshops all over Belgium.
Apart from that, I also visited the MSK in Ghent and did photo walks (which sometimes ended at the Christmas market with Genever). There was, ofcourse, also a Sinterklaas brunch with the family. And we can’t forget about celebrating the holidays.
I helped my sister and her fiance move houses, started to think about my business plans for the coming year (including hiring a freelance copywriter for my company blog), hung with friends at the Vleeshalle in Mechelen and went to an escape room after (we did surprisingly well). As a finisher, I saw comedian Xander de Rycke in the Lotte Arena.
I had interesting conversations with Bart Azare and Giannis Angelakis for my street photography. Both will be published in the podcast in January. I also met with Koen Geens over coffee to borrow my Godox V1 for a weekend. Then we met again to return it to me (and discuss photography and the new Godox strobe).
